How Insulin Hacks Eating Behavior

In this YouTube I use plain English to describe how insulin resistance is at the root of many metabolic disease conditions. You’ll get a tight, well-researched summary of the condition of insulin resistance and its relationship to ALL the macronutrients–carbs, fat and protein.

Then I pull in the problem of leptin resistance. All the science is not clear, but leptin resistance (insensitivity) seems to always be present where there is insulin resistance. The brain’s “blindness” to the leptin hormone results in the imbalanced, highly caloric food intake. You will also learn how to spot sighs and symptoms of this hormonal problem, my “hacked” eating behavior, and how you can self-assess whether or not your love of food is actually an addiction.

In this YouTube, I use plain English to outline rock-bottom aging factors that are within our control. You will learn about the core “engines” and the everyday foods and behaviors that fight disease and help us stay productive, healthy, and avoid disease.

We don’t die of old age. Ultimately, we will kick the bucket from one affliction or another. The trick is to extend health and live as many joy-filled, disease-free years as possible.
